The main accused in serial Mumbai blasts of 1993, Mr Yakub Memon was found guilty on several counts.  Death sentence imposed by trial court was confirmed by Supreme Court;  He was hanged.   Some persons under the banner of Ambedkar Students Associationhad protested against hanging;  in a meeting held in the University campus, they declared: " tum  kitne yakub maar denge,  har har ghar se yakub nikalega; i.e.: How many yakubs you kill?  From every house one yakub will emerge!"  Muzzarfarpur riots were not  in the picture;  nor was any Dalit-non-Dalit issue.   further, when an ABVP student protested against this Yakub-sympathy line, he was thrashed;   for that thrashing five students were originally rusticated;  and later new VC reduced the pusnishment to eviction from hostel only and no rustication.  நடந்தது இது தான்.  இதில் தலித் அல்லது தாழ்த்தப்பட்ட ஜாதி விஷயங்கள்  இல்லை..   மாணவர் ஏதோ காரணத்துக்காக தற்கொலை செய்து  அரசியல் வாதிகள் எடுத்து பா ஜ க வை வசை பாடுகின்றனர்.
